Northwest Development Agency

What they say about themselves:

"The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) is responsible for stimulating the economic growth and regeneration of England’s Northwest. In response to the current economic climate, we have recently announced a package of new and enhanced support to help Northwest businesses. Find out more about how we are helping businesses in the region. We are also working with partners to produce the region's first single regional strategy."

Translated that means:
Bung taxpayers money (and EU money) at things that look worthwhile. And one or two that, to this jaded eye, don't....

Where to find out about 'em:
Their own website- http://www.nwda.co.uk
Their Climate Change pages-

The pages of Crain's Business Manchester are highly entertaining on the NWDA

Questions we've got:
Where are they up to with their action plan??
